Hollow Fiber Membrane
The hollow fibre membrane is a sophisticated filter developed by Mitsubishi Rayon’s macromolecular chemical technology. Each hollow fibre membrane has a macaroni-shaped cross section and has millions of pores on the sidewall. It can remove particles as small as 0.01- 0.1 micrometer from tap water.
The hollow fiber membrane is also used in medical and industrial areas, including water supply and water treatment facilities, the condensate filter equipment of power plant turbines, and ultra-filtration hand-washing units for hospital operating rooms.
Features
Ultra Small Pore Size
Pore size of 0.1micron. Suitable for bacteria removal.
Permanently hydrophilic
They support dry storage and direct water inflow from dry condition.
Excellent flexibility and mechanical strength
Air scrubbing is possible.
Environmental Friendly
Easy waste disposal. Free of solvents or endocrine disruptors, this membrane production method has only a minor impact on the environment.
